A 2D game where players must fight each other while also dodging environmental obstacles. Programmed in C# using the Unity game engine and the Photon Networking library. Some examples of games that have been created with GameMaker Studio are: Spelunky, Undertale, Hyper Light Drifter, and Hotline Miami. However, as indie game development has become more popular and because there is a big market for 2D RPG style games, GameMaker is an engine worth considering for certain developers.

As useful as it it, unity's physics engine doesn't work well when you are 'faking' physics like a 2D fighting game. Fighting games tend to have 100% friction, arc jumps, 'floating' moves and much more. We will also be changing from Mecanim to the standard legacy animation component. Even though Mecanim has great features, it doesn't seem to. A powerful, point and click fighting game creation engine designed to make creating complex fighting games much easier. Fighter Creator has specifically been built to be completely accessible through an easy to use editor without losing power or flexibility.
